UPDATE: Lauryn just started on mush/babyfood about a month ago but what she really wants is whatever you're eating haha! and she likes to take care of the junk mail for us too- the serious looking face cracks me up. She recently sprouted 2 little bottom teeth so she wont be nursing much longer haha! She has some super chunky thighs compared to the rest of her it's funny but adorable.
I saw her sit up the other day from laying on her tummy one minute to sitting up the next! She's been sitting on her own since she was about 5 months but this getting up on her own is exciting- (she wont do it if you're watching close though she'll just whine for help). Getting more and more mobile every day she somehow gets from a to b, cant crawl yet, but tries by rocking back and forth on hands and knees, so we've installed the baby gate atop the stairs

Conference weekend we went to Midway, a small Swiss-settled city near Heber (UT)there are some neat looking houses. We stayed at a nice timeshare condo(Lauryn slept in the suitcase haha), watched conference, swam, played, fished and went to a naturally warm crater you can snorkel/scuba in. Pretty fun mini getaway.
